“Whether thoughts come from you or whether thoughts are like bites from mosquitoes — mostly, you are inundated with them. Your thoughts are rapid-fire thoughts. There seem to be no screens to keep thoughts out. Thoughts have free range and a field day with you. Most often, you have enough thoughts to build fires with. Thoughts eventually go on their way or make their escape, and still you are responsible for them.” HL 4537
“Remember always that you cannot be anywhere except in the Mind of God. When you forget this, you will despair and you will attack… If Truth is indivisible, your evaluation of yourself must be God’s. You did not establish your value and it needs no defense.” ACIM 9-8

It has been said that thoughts combined with belief and intention can move mountains. And yet, as humans in the relative world, how many times haven’t we ask God to release us from thinking! The mind is not the problem. Our way of using or perceiving the mind is the problem. The mind never loses its creative force. It never sleeps, it is never in an idle state. Every instant it is creating and producing one form or the other at some level.
We have to admit that the mind is very powerful in two opposite ways. We either choose to believe in the creative power of thoughts or we choose to believe that our thoughts cannot have any kind of influence on the world. If we believe that our thoughts have no influence, it must generate fear and guilt through our perceiving that our mind is impotent. And how can we respect the thoughts of an impotent mind? Then we are afraid of our thoughts, we think of ourself as little, limited and we think the same about our brothers and sisters through projection.
Can we ask God to turn our mind off? If we acknowledge that we are responsible for what we do, how does it come we are more indulgent and passive about what we think or the way we think? Yes, we try to control the results of our thoughts while we should control our thoughts at their source. Just like in contemporary medicine, we try to heal the symptoms rather than the cause.
We don’t have to shut off our mind because it is only at the mind level that we have the power to change or correct something. Only a mind has the power to change its mind about itself. It is the mind that thought and created virtual separation. Yet, this mind was created perfect and it is invariably perfect but it has the power to delude itself. So the same mind can shift back from a virtual world of separation to the real world of unity. We can choose to change the way we use our mind, but we cannot change our mind. It is God-given, and it was given with the user manual bearing the subtitle: “To be used only with truth and love”.
A thought in our mind that is separate from God is also separate from God’s truth, hence from God’s love. It is a thought that has no meaning. It is a thought that has no reality. And it generates fear, confusion, anger, and despair. This is to say that only thoughts created in truth, in love and in joy can heal our split mind which entails our conflicting behaviors. After all both love and fear are thoughts. The first is real, the second is illusion.
We can’t stop the mind. But we can direct and correct the way we use it. If we ask to be released from our thoughts it is because we fear them. And if we go deeper into this fear of our own thoughts, we realize that we create conflicts between what we want and what we do. We desire oneness and wholeness with God and at the same time, we let our mind venture into dark zones where we tend to maintain our perception of separation from God. That is when we identify our mind with our body and think we are lost bodies on a lost planet.
Ultimately, it is because we have not yet wholly chosen God. We have conflicting desires to unite with God and keep separate at the same time. But God is patient. He does not ask more from us than we are willing to give Him. With loving thoughts, our mind and behavior come back into accord, and fear vanishes, putting the mind into perfect peace and rest.
Now let us put those considerations on the thought process through the perspective of God’s own unified theory on thought and the universe.
Does God ever stop thinking?
If we acknowledge that the mind never sleeps, that it is never in an idle state, how can God not get tired of thinking and take a break from supporting the universe?
We know from the physical law of entropy that even if the quantity of energy/matter is constant in the universe, individual systems tend to lose their physical coherence (aging) while the process of integrative information grows and new systems arise in expansion and complexity. This apparent paradox can be seen through the perspective of the double nature of light: an electromagnetic wave (probability wave, non-localized) and a particle of matter (localized).
We could say that light as a localized particle creates the appearance of solid matter. What defines form is a binary pulsation of light particle expressing that it exists only transitorily because it is phenomenal, not real. It is, then it is not. If it is changing, it is not real. Change means division, separation. Reality as truth is eternally indivisible, unchangeable.
In its binary pulsation, light operates like a computer, electronically manipulating series of 0 and 1 corresponding to the on/off state of the appearance of forms. In its binary aspect light defines the limit of the form and the limit of its own operation and activity to sustain the form. In that mode, light appears limited by its own speed. It has the appearance of matter because it limits itself by generating the illusion of time and space. It becomes a localization, a form. This limitation of binary light explains the process of growth and decay of all the organisms according to time/space frames or parameters. Separate, localized systems must lose energy or light, that is coherence, because they can only be transitory.
This also explains why even our thinking process exhausts us. In the relative world, we think binarily because the objects of our thoughts seem to be outside of us or independent from us. We have to learn words in order to speak and, generally speaking, we have to learn everything. There is a limited quantity of information that our brain can process binarily. And when, in our old age, we have more information (knowledge? wisdom?), our body loses its coherence.
Most of our thoughts are not about oneness but about separation topics. They are binary because they use the binary mode of the split mind. Hence they follow the thermodynamic law of entropy. But if the mind starts to use again its oneness mode, what will happen?
As an electromagnetic wave (probability wave, non-localized) light does not behave as a time/space binary pulsation but as a limitless continuum in the eternal present. It is instantaneous connectivity and synchronicity. It does not need time and space or it occupies the totality of time and space. That is what the symbol of the hologram represents. Holographic processes are analogous, not digital. There are not sequential but instantaneous. They are not on or off, Ø or 1, they have an infinite continuity of numbers between 0 and 1. Just think of the golden number (Ø) and the Fibonacci series. In fact, it is not really an infinite continuity of numbers between 0 and 1 but an infinite multiplication of 1 itself through analogy, sameness, likeness. Light is one, is 1 and it has no limit in encoding any amount of information. It contains all the existing information on the universe and even the information to come because it can only expand through sameness, oneness. All is created eternally in a no-space no-time world without entropy.
Now we begin to understand a little why God can think continuously without getting tired.
Information is added-value
In the scientific relative world, information is information. Even if the quantum field or akashic field can contain all the information of the universe, it does not “inform” us on the real nature of this information.
And what can be the real nature of information? The only real in-formation is one-formation. It is essentially information about oneness. And one is the only real mathematical value. This value is equal to truth, love, knowledge, joy, and peace.
This one-formation holds the value, the worth of everything in the universe. And only one can be equal to one. Hence 1+1 always yield 1.
God’s thoughts are information and mirrors of His own value reflected in our own value and can only expand by the virtue of their analogous, holographic light.
The very one and unique information that exists is that we cannot be anywhere except in the mind of oneness. And the value of one-formation IS the value of what we really are. Real information is added-value in itself.
We could say that the law of entropy is the law of the false evaluation of who we are. We could also say that any material form in the universe is a false evaluation of what it really is. Because only one is. By identifying ourself with the outside world of forms through our body, we evaluate ourself as separate, so less than 1. Our thought process then follows the law of entropy.
But if we accept that God’s evaluation of ourself — and God gives us the 1 mark or score — is the real information about who we are, then there is no need for us to establish our own value, no need to defend what we are or pretend that we are something else. We just have to think one and it does not generate any incoherence, entropy, and exhaustion. We become what we are, and we are light. We therefore use that light-one-formation to co-create. Then the energy of the universe is no longer constant, it grows and expands indefinitely and holographically as one.
