58 Picking up the pieces of our Self

FORGETTING IN ORDER TO REMEMBER

WE ARE ONE

“Even as you look at a solid object through a microscope, seeing that it is not solid at all, but actually a conglomeration of a million different effects — different things all happening at once and thus creating the larger effect — so, too, do you use time as the microscope of your soul” N.D. Walsch, Conversations with God, Book 3

God said: You are not really in the process of rising. You are in the process of remembering. Rising itself is not something you have to learn or be taught. Consider rising as the train you are riding on. You just think you are

on a train called by another name, called, perhaps, Trying to Manage, or Struggling, or Searching for Love. Beloveds, you search for what you already are. You are My Self.” http://heavenletters.org/a-metaphor-of-the-dawn.html

God said: In a sense, you, the Individual You, is a Figment of Imagination. All the world is, and, yet, I figmented it. Do you find Me contrary? I, the Creator, created. I created a Representation. Beautiful Representation yet a Representation just the same. I honor all the Representations I created. I honor every single dot of Creation, the Seen and the Unseen.    The allegory of Adam and Eve revisited

If One is all there is and there is nothing else but that, how is it possible to experience something or anything? To experience means to choose certain elements by separating or differentiating them from other elements, and making them behave differently.

Moreover, if our basic experience on Earth is to recreate who we really are, we necessarily have to separate our Self from ourself, that is we have to  forget who we are by producing or differentiating a self that we are not (ego). We have to break our Self into a myriad of pieces of selves.

This is a dichotomy that we cannot really “explain” logically but only acknowledge as the Great Mystery of Creation. — Dichotomy (Greek: dikha ‘two parts’ and temnein ‘to cut’) is a division into two usually and apparently contradictory parts or opinions. — How can we be One while we are Many, and so different Many? How can we explain the existence of time when there is no time, no before and no after? How can we explain the existence of space when there is no here and no there? How can we explain the existence of fear when there is nothing but love? How can we explain the existence of sorrow when there is only joy? How can we explain sickness when there is only perfect health?

Even if dichotomy does not have a logical explanation or resolution, we have to acknowledge that it is possible to “fit” two seemingly contradictory truths in the same space. For example: where do we begin, where do we end?  Our soul or spirit seems to be circumscribed or contained by our body. We often say that the body is housing the soul. But isn’t the opposite also true? Isn’t the soul a container for the body? The dichotomous Reality is that Oneness can create different perspectives and, consequently, behave differently while always staying the same. The function of creating perspectives can be called Life.

What seems a contradiction is, in Reality, an inherent property of Creation. Creation is a differentiation, a uniqueness in the Eternal and Infinite Sameness.

“God said: In a sense, you, the Individual You, is a Figment of Imagination. All the world is, and, yet, I figmented it.” God knows that and our Higher Self knows that but in the experience of re-creating who we really are, we have forgotten that, and we had to. It was part of the plan and of the contract we signed…

We could say that forgetting is an essential component of this figment of imagination. It is built in the system. Essentially, the myth of Eve eating the forbidden fruit illustrates this experiential Truth that you need opposites to experience anything. To recreate what we are we need an opposite, that is what we are not (ego).

However what could prompt us to do this experience of losing or forgetting our Self to experience the re-creation of this same yet unique Self? Only Love could do that by taking the disguise of the polarity of pleasure and pain. The rest of the allegory of Adam and Eve is history.

Before the “fall” of the Garden of Eden, it is most likely that Adam and Eve did not have a physical body. The polarities were still conceptual, and it is through the mechanism of oblivion (sleep) that Adam and Eve suddenly woke up and found each other in different bodies, and these bodies were nude. Nudity of the body means, of course, the principle of pleasure attached to the physical existence. Love, in the disguise of the pleasure of the flesh, is what made acceptable and tolerable to our soul the experience of losing or forgetting our Self to endorse a separate, self-created self (see blog # 22 Freedom I : the mystery of pleasure). How could a soul who knows only freedom could support to be attached and limited to a body? Some principle of attraction had to be powerful enough for the soul to accept this compromise. Love in the disguise of physical pleasure was that powerful attractor to produce what we are not. This is the principle of generation.

At the same time, through the symbol of the forbidden fruit, the pleasure reconquered by the Self (through its own re-creation) signifies the path to remembering who we really are by elevating the physical pleasure, based on selectivity, preferences, social and cultural laws, special relationships and judgment (what we are not) to the level of universal love and recognition of our oneness and magnificence with everything without judgments or conditions. In Reality, the fruit was never forbidden because, as well as it contained the active agent that put Adam and Eve to forget, to sleep or fall into the dream state of the physical seeming reality, this same active agent could be reversed, re-created to heal their forgetfulness by remembering who they really were. This is called mastering the snake.

How pieces of our Self are created

“God said: You are not really in the process of rising. You are in the process of remembering.” And it seems that the body is the embodiment of forgetfulness. As said previously, oblivion is built into our system. The poison is the remedy, like in homeopathy. Our body is built as a forgetting device (what we are not) allowing the soul to experience and re-create the freedom of its oneness through remembering (what we really are). This is why the new spirituality prompts us to choose to stay close to our body rather than trying to escape from it. When the soul rediscovers how it produced a body both as a container and a content to allow the experience of itself, it realizes that the existence of the body has a reason and a purpose: the perfect device to bring down Heaven to Earth. This is where and when the re-creation of our real Self has to be accomplished according to the original contract.

The body is the perfect representation of how our original Self splits Itself into multiple parts or pieces to be able to experience what it feels like to be a Self. It is as if the Self was looking at pieces or perspectives of itself and try to reconstruct the Whole Picture of Itself by reassembling those pieces through the act of remembering. It required time and space to examine each piece and reconstruct the whole of the puzzle.

The key expression here is to differentiate while staying the same, and, at the same time, differentiation is not a duplication but a creation of a unique expression of the same. No two twins are identical. Creation produces only originals; it never creates copies. This is another mysterious aspect of the dichotomy.

The existence of objects in the relative world is yet another fascinating aspect of the dichotomy, this figment of imagination. The body and all its components can be viewed as objects. A brain is an object as well as the nervous system, the glands, etc. However, behind each and all objects there is a thought. Yet, thought is an energy, not an object. And objects are the result of the transformation of energy as well as the transformers of energy. The brain as well as the cells transform light or electric vibrations into physical inputs allowing the creation of differentiated perspectives and behaviors.

We could say that transformers are simply modulators of energy that allow us to differentiate frequencies and create different attributes and behaviors of the objects. At the same time, this part of the soul called mind that is so closely attached to the body (mostly the brain) can and must also fall into oblivion or sleep to experience what it is through what it is not.

The time delay between thought and creation

One magnificent attribute of Oneness, Love, Abundance and Joy is their INSTANTANEITY. In Oneness, Creation appears instantaneously with thought. This is to say that there are no time delay  and no distance delay between the thought and its manifestation. Only the non-existence of time and the non-existence of space (time and space being the corollary of each other) can account for instantaneity , infinity, eternity, and the Now.

Instantaneity is the attribute of the Creative Consciousness that knows that It is the cause of Its Creation. However to experience what it feels like to be a Creator, we have to produce a situation where we think that events are happening to us, that we are not the cause of them. It seems that we have lost or forgotten our power to create by believing that we are not at cause in the matter of our life. This is a sine qua non condition to experience and re-create ourselves as creators.

The body, through the brain and the intelligent cells,  acts as a delayer, creating the perception of time and space between the pieces of our Self: the distance that separates the pieces and the time to go from one piece to the other. This is the psychedelic nature of objects that look solid and opaque. Isn’t what a transformer does? It delays in order to translate and convert something into something else. Isn’t language itself a delayer and a transformer of the thought-energy into physical impulses?

If we have so much difficulty in seizing time and space while we experience them intuitively, it is because the body IS the time and space delayer itself. We identify with what we are thinking and perceiving with. Thus, we create a time delay between our thoughts and their manifestations and we lost track of our own causality.

Yet, we don’t have to leave the body to experience ourselves as creators. But the proof is in the jar.

Allow me to share another perspective. We, individually, have, at our most deepest aspect, a connection to what could be called fundamental consciousness.

The (“novel”) perspective is that… that’s it, period. Anything else – Between that connection – is likely a diversion. This includes any and all “entities”, “spirits”, “angels”, “masters” and yes, “higher selves”. This also includes cosmic Plans, Densities, and all the rest.

Not my idea but it makes sense and I haven’t discarded it yet. It’s the likely fact that all this sort of stuff is nothing more than thought forms. And the kicker to that is you wind up tangled in those very forms after death… not able to discern that they are in fact that.

The other issue about so called cosmic plans is that it too points to not having freedom.

Now from my own experience on these matters, there appears to be little freedom indeed. This, even without overstepping authorities. Seems to me that to incarnate for reasons other than pleasure is masochistic. Yet, this drive is pure evil according to some…

I think it’s most likely that we are in fact wired to a big contraption, or body; like it’s cells. Thus we’ve very little freedom and (thus) we ain’t so special either.

Once the mind decides to experience what it wants to experience, the body presents itself as the tool or the medium to experience it. The body exists as a reality as long as our mind believes in its reality.

Fundamental consciousness is the realization that the world is an illusion. And we cannot be emprisoned by an illusion if we choose not to.
