58 Picking up the pieces of our Self

“Even as you look at a solid object through a microscope, seeing that it is not solid at all, but actually a conglomeration of a million different effects — different things all happening at once and thus creating the larger effect — so, too, do you use time as the microscope of your soul.” CWG Book III

How can we be One while we are Many, and so different Many? How can we explain the existence of time when there is no time, no before and no after? How can we explain the existence of space when there is no here and no there? How can we explain the existence of fear when there is nothing but love

57 We Perceive Because We Forgot

God said:“Heaven is within everyone’s heart. Heaven is really not this distance that you allow it to be… It’s only a trick of perception that allows Heaven to be a somewhere sometime later… It is already within you. Much the same as when you can’t find your eyeglasses, and they are right on your head.” HL 4689

Not to be is the ultimate expression of the belief in separation. And since not to be is impossible, the only way to experience non-being is true forgetting, hence perceiving, that is, dreaming.

56 Being a body or being in a body?

“”This year is thus the time to make the easiest decision that ever confronted you, and also the only one. You will cross the bridge into reality simply because you will recognize that God is on the other side, and nothing at all is here. It is impossible not to make the natural decision as this is realized.” ACIM 21-1

The Centaur expresses the image of an indefatigable horseman that is one with his mount (horse). We could see the lower body part of the Centaur, the horse, as the realm of doing while the upper part, the human, as the realm of the soul or being. In the Centaur image, being and doing are one and the doing part (the horse) is the reflection of the being part (the human).

55 Recalibration 3: Living and understanding illusion

“In the Beginning, That Which Is is all there was, and there was nothing else. Yet All That Is could not know itself—because All That Is is all there was, and there was nothing else. And so, All That Is. . . was not. For in the absence of something else, All That Is, is not.” ACIM 21-2

God said:“Everything on Earth certainly seems real. It is accepted as real. How would you manage on Earth without credence to the fiction that is called real yet is not? To go somewhere, you have to take a direction. How would you find 3rd Street unless you paid attention? Directions are given, and recipes are followed, and all is fiction at the same time as fiction’s beauty is real and love is real and so much of the non-reality stirs within you remembrance of Me.” HL 4728

54 Recalibration 2: I need do nothing

“‘I need do nothing’ is a statement of allegiance, a truly undivided loyalty. Believe it for just one instant, and you will accomplish more than is given to a century of contemplation, or of struggle against temptation.” ACIM 128-7

Being is the most simple thing conceivable. In fact, it is so simple that it is inconceivable for us. Our mind functions by contrasts, comparisons, evaluations which all have to end up in judgments. Obviously, to perceive differences is to judge that we are not the same as what we perceive as different.

53 Recalibration 1: En Route Towards the Sun

God said:” Our Oneness is how everything is simultaneous, instantly occurring even when there is no time to set it in. Oneness is how what occurs to a seeming individual happens to Us all. That is how the least of My children is First. All are First. There is no second.” HL 987

We are making ourselves happening in and to the Universe
In other terms, we are progressively allowing the possibility of revealing our Self to ourself and consequently to the Universe. We are ceasing to think that we are only incidental in this Universe, and we are replacing this thought by the thought that we, that is each and every one of us, are necessary and sufficient, which is the exact opposite of being incidental.

52 Is Death a Reverse Miracle?

God said: And so I suggest that you trust in yourself and in Me. Accept that death is not real. Fears are not real. As for fear of the death of the body, that will be realized with your approval or not, so why fear death so many moments in your life? Beloveds, when you do leave your body, you will embrace its loss and know you have lost nothing but your fears.” HL 4768

We all agree that the birth of a child is a miracle. It is an image, a soul of Infinity and Eternity made visible, finite, temporal, an image of God that took a form through a body. But we don’t see the death of a loved one or even our own death as a miracle, a return of the individualized soul to generality, Infinity and Eternity where it comes from but rather as a calamity.

51 Recreating the World by Recreating Ourself

“Many stand guard over their ideas because they want to protect their thought systems as they are, and learning means change. Change is always fearful to the separated, because they cannot conceive of it as a move towards healing the separation. They always perceive it as a move toward further separation, because the separation was their first experience of change.” A Course in Miracles 4-1

What do we do with our technological knowledge? We try to bring solutions to problems exactly at the same level as the problems themselves (Einstein). Of course, we have to in our 3-D life. But life goes much beyond 3-D living. We have a technology of emergency, a hyper sophisticated technology of the short term. A new virus appears, a new vaccine is developed.

47 Are We Time Travelers? 3 : Through the Looking Glass

God said:“Your consciousness is utterly powerful and reliable, yet you don’t see it that way. Your consciousness  is not a flat line. Your consciousness moves your life, and it moves the world, for through your consciousness, the world and your life in the world appear. In a sense, you are an apparition.”HL 4745

There seem to be as many ways to realize Oneness as there are individuals. Yet, at the same time,  there is no time frame, no real path to Oneness as well as there is no distance to Oneness. How could there be any path since there are no dimensions in Oneness?

39 Human Reality as Opposed to Truth

God said:“An old thought is the thought, the awareness, the proclivity to think that you are in need. Sense of need is a disavowal of your connection to Me. . Sense of need, fear, worry etc. almost insure that you will have needs.” HL 4688

“Here’s the conundrum, here are the opposing factors: Hunger as opposed to God provides”.
There are times and circumstances where it seems almost impossible to reconcile human “reality” with the reality of Truth. We have come to understand, at least as an insight, that we have the power to heal ourself, to create perfect health. We know that in order to be able to use that power, we have to change many of our beliefs.
